Second stop on our Iloilo Heritage Tour back in November was the Miag-ao Church (also known as Church of Santo Tomas de Villanueva) in the town of Miag-ao. The church was built by the Augustinians in 1786 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the four Baroque churches in the Philippines declared by UNESCO. It was actually my first time in Iloilo last November for the Philippine Blog Awards Visayas and Visayas Blogging Summit. Thanks to Iloilo Bloggers who arranged a Heritage Tour for us.
